Aviation & English Tutoring Services Custom-Developed for Your Goals
You want to excel in this industry. Don’t let your Knowledge comprehension or Aviation English proficiency hold you back.

Aviation is a Joy… & a Challenge
Aviation has the ability to capture the soul and fuel an obsessive passion like few other industries… it is also full of challenges. The market is constantly up and down, the weather is never predictable and rarely cooperative, things malfunction at the most inopportune times, and let’s not even get started on the constantly looming possibility of having to handle an actual emergency situation. Yikes!
If you’re looking to make a career out of aviation, you know these are all challenges you will deal with for years to come along with many more that come along with being a professional pilot — less than pleasant passengers, duty limits and schedule bidding — the list goes on.
Regardless of what challenge you’re trying to handle, being able to clearly communicate is key to getting through the situation safely and effectively.
“Language is a component of communication and the ability to speak at a certain level of proficiency in order to communicate with each other if something unexpected occurs is essential.”
— Dawn Flanagan, ICAO’s Aviation English Language Testing Service (AELTS) Manager

A la Carte Services
More Specialized Services Coming Soon!!! - Check back in 2023 for details on these additional services!
Air Traffic Control Phraseology Practice
Price TBD
Perhaps the biggest challenge facing both native and non-native English speakers when it comes to communication is ATC phraseology. This service focuses on clear communication in the cockpit and offers communication practice through scenario-based radio exchanges. Since this is commonly cited as a weak area in many aviation accidents, this is an excellent service to spend your time and money on — and it can be tailored for both native and non-native English speakers!
Pronunciation Practice & Accent Reduction
Price TBD
A common struggle for non-native English speakers lies not in English knowledge or proficiency but in pronunciation — specifically in accent reduction. This service is for individuals with a firm grasp of the English language who just need to work on clarity in pronunciation and reducing the confusion caused by accents both on and off the radio.
Technical Manual Review
Price TBD
Any good pilot or mechanic knows that it is essential to understand the technical manual for the aircraft they are flying or working on. While many manufacturers offer manuals translated into a variety of languages, we have all seen instances where something gets lost in translation and just doesn’t make sense. This service uses original English versions of technical manuals to ensure you fully understand what the manufacturer wanted you to know about the aircraft.
Cockpit Audio/Video Review & Critique
Price TBD
This is is an exciting and unique service you won’t find elsewhere! With this service, we will be reviewing your personal cockpit audio or video recordings from your time in the cockpit! It requires you to have access to a recording device capable of recording clear audio of your radio communications like a GoPro camera (video isn’t necessary). You will then upload and send me your recordings for me to review and provide you with detailed feedback and customized content for additional practice. This is another service that can be taken advantage of by both native and non-native English speakers!
Standardized Test Preparation
Price TBD
Professional pilots are required by ICAO to speak the English language to a certain level of proficiency and pass a standardized English Proficiency Exam — like that offered by Oxford— in order to operate in international airspace. This service focuses on the requirements for those exams and works with you to study and practice all areas with a special focus on improving your weaknesses.
Interview Preparation & Practice
Price TBD
Obviously, if you are putting in all of this work to improve your skills, you probably want a job in the industry! Don’t let all of your hard work go to waste by failing to perform well during the interview. This service leverages the expert advice of real, currently-employed airline pilots to practice industry-specific interview techniques in English.
Custom Group Packages
Any of the services listed above can be combined and tailored to fit the unique needs of your team or squadron. Special pricing is available for Custom Group Packages.
